Are you wishing you could spend more time with your horse but can't because the commute is too far?Freedom Woods, conveniently located just minutes from downtown Chicago and the North Shore, caters to horse owners who love to spend time with their horses but are on a tight schedule. Located in the beautiful Cook County Forest Preserve woods, we offer the feel of a country location in the suburbs. With a vast trail system at our doorstep, and a large, private outdoor arena, you and your horse will experience the serene environment you are seeking. Whether you want to ride for pleasure, horse show or lesson, we have the facility for you. At Freedom Woods boarders participate as little or as much as they like in services provided, and for the customer with limited time full-service is available. In addition to our large outdoor arena, we also offer two bright, well-lit indoor arenas (one is heated) so there is plenty of room for everyone to ride. Heated aisles and hot water make winter much more comfortable, and trainers are on staff year-round to help if needed. Tours are always available. Board: $730-810 (depending on stall size) 4 days per week turnout (Tuesday-Friday, additional days as well as second daily turnout available upon request) 7 days per week stall cleaning including 2 full bedding changes 2 feedings per day (supplements fed at no additional cost) Lesson and training packages available Individual services available including but not limited to clipping, grooming, full service and vacation service.
